The verdictThe business-side trade desk: Tom Webster's research, a partner Slack, and ads-and-measurement talk. Not a show finder.
Free tierAvailable. Check the plan limits below.
Best forA sales lead, network operator, measurement vendor, or brand buyer who needs research and introductions.
Not the best fitA weekly hobby host who only wanted recording tips, or anyone who expected a free private Slack.
The gotchaThe Slack, the 30 minutes with Bryan, and the summit seats are for paying partners, not for a free newsletter reader.

  • Free newsletter and research$0. Official homepage and about page: free subscription. Research described as free and open access for all. About page opened 2026-08-26: over 9,000 active subscribers, about 55% open rate.
  • Podcast feed$0. Official podcast page: Narrated Articles, The Download (ten minutes or less), and The Sounds Profitable Podcast hosted by Bryan Barletta and Arielle Nissenblatt.
  • Partner programNo dollar on soundsprofitable.com/partnerships (opened 2026-08-26). Form or email bryan@soundsprofitable.com. Official benefits: 30 minutes/month with Bryan, Unplugged webinars, quarterly Business Leaders Summit, partner logos on every article. Bryan Barletta told The Business of Marketing (published 23 May 2026) the fee has been $500/mo with no contracts, 210 partners. That is an interview, not a checkout page.
Pricing notesNo public rate card on soundsprofitable.com. Do not treat $500/mo as a live checkout price. It is Barletta's May 2026 interview figure, also reported in a July 2025 NetInfluencer profile as a flat fee regardless of company size. Official partnerships page lists benefits and a form, not dollars. About page subscriber count (9,000+) is the live official figure; a May 2026 Muck Rack press note on their site said 10,000 subscribers, nearly 210 partners, and Slack of more than 2,100. Article footers still say 1,800+ Slack. Partnerships page ownership language (fully owned by Bryan and Tom, no outside investment) was still live 2026-08-26 and conflicts with the August 2025 Podcast Movement acquisition covered by Podnews and the Sounds Profitable press release.
