Flightcast is a video-first podcast host built for creators who publish long-form video to YouTube and Spotify while still needing a normal RSS audio feed. One upload can send video to YouTube and Spotify and audio to Apple Podcasts and other audio apps. That unified flow is the product's main reason to exist.

It is for established or fast-growing video shows that currently re-upload the same episode three times and reconcile analytics by hand. The dashboard combines YouTube, Spotify, Apple and other metrics, including retention-oriented stats that hosts rarely expose in one place.

It is not a budget host for a first audio-only show. The entry Basic plan is $50 per month per podcast, and every additional show needs its own subscription. AI clip generation starts on Pro, and automatic YouTube-to-Spotify syncing also requires Pro or Legend.

Dynamic ad insertion is built in, but placement is not the same as guaranteed revenue. Treat ad tools as infrastructure you still have to sell against. Storage is generous (3 TB and up), which matters for 4K video, but overages on downloads are possible on fast-growing shows.
