It suits podcasters who like the idea of a single vendor relationship covering both the technical hosting and some of the production workload, especially newer shows unsure how to structure an episode.
If you already have an editor and a production process you're happy with, the extra services on offer are just noise you'll need to ignore in the sales emails.
Worth comparing directly against a plain host if all you actually want is reliable RSS hosting at a fair price.
