TalkShoe has been around since the earlier days of podcasting and built its niche around live, call in style audio shows, letting listeners dial in or join online during recording, then publishing the result as a podcast feed.
It fits hosts doing talk radio style shows, community call ins, or listener Q&A formats where the live interaction is the point, not something to edit out later.
The interface and overall polish show their age next to newer hosts built in the last few years, so expect a rougher, more utilitarian experience.
If live call in format is genuinely your show's format, the tooling here is more purpose built for that than general hosts that only support pre recorded uploads.
