CastScribe starts with a finished recording, a media URL or a podcast feed. It creates transcripts, SRT and VTT subtitles, article drafts, show notes, quotes and social copy. The reason to consider it alongside existing repurposing tools is its publishing workflow: saved feeds, reusable Publishing Recipes, review links and WordPress drafts help a team repeat the same handoff each episode.

The writing controls include style profiles, custom vocabulary and people or speaker context. These guide the generated copy; they do not establish that a transcript, attributed quote or article is accurate. Review names and claims against the recording. Its documentation also explains that show-note timestamps and YouTube chapters are generated separately, so they can disagree and need reconciliation before publishing.

The monthly transcription allowance is only one limit. Each job includes 30 AI requests shared by everyone working on it. The initial article, new drafts, retries and other generation tools consume that allowance. Reading saved results normally does not. Creator is for one account owner; additional team members start on Studio. This is a written-content workflow, not a video cutting suite.

Files are uploaded for remote processing. The privacy policy identifies cloud storage and says uploads and outputs remain until you delete them or within 30 days after account cancellation or deletion, subject to legal exceptions. The documentation says optional AI-assisted archive search can send the query and related search terms to OpenAI. The published policy does not give an explicit blanket no-model-training guarantee.

This is a research-based listing, not a hands-on assessment of transcription or writing quality. The documented review and WordPress workflow makes it a relevant option for recurring production, but it is not a promise of publication-ready copy or additional audience growth.
