Episode Desk

Episode Desk starts with a transcript you already have. Its free browser studio uses fixed rules to select exact source excerpts, creates up to three editable carousel slides and lets you change layouts, wording and themes before downloading portrait PNGs. It does not transcribe audio, write with an AI model or post to social networks.

In a live check, the no-account studio accepted a fictional timestamped transcript, created three editable slides and linked each selected quotation back to the source text and speaker label. The controls exposed six themes, six layouts and a 50,000-character input limit. That source matching is useful for review, but it does not prove a claim is true or that the speaker label is correct.

The paid download expands the workflow to saved projects, posts, newsletters, short text, clip briefs and longer carousels. It also adds square and story image sizes, JSON backups, calendar and CSV planning exports, and an optional handoff to an outside AI provider. The toolkit itself does not include AI access, usage credits or rendered video.

Work is stored in the browser rather than a vendor account. Use the same app file, browser and profile, and export backups regularly. Local recordings used for preview are not included in project backups. If you choose an outside AI service, that provider's cost and privacy terms apply to anything you send.

Independent review history is limited. The working public sample, exact-source review aids, clear limitations, modest one-time price and narrow podcast repurposing use make it a useful catalog choice, but support and long-term maintenance are less established than with larger design platforms.
