Sound Forge moved from MAGIX to Boris FX in 2026. The current product offers waveform repair, loudness metering, batch processing and plug-in support.
It works on individual audio files, including files with multiple channels. Use a separate DAW to arrange independent guest tracks.
The current requirements list Windows 11 and audio exports including WAV, MP3 and FLAC. A 15-day trial is available; a paid license or subscription is then required.
