Webflow

Webflow is a designer's website platform. You build in the canvas. You publish to a custom domain. You can run a CMS for episode pages if you pay for Premium. This is not Podpage. This is not a host microsite. Networks and brand shows use it because the marketing site already lives here, or because they hired someone who thinks in Webflow.

It fits a design-led show, a network, or a company podcast with a real brand site. It fits a team that already ships landing pages in Webflow and wants the show on the same canvas. It does not fit someone who wanted a player and a list of episodes by tomorrow with no designer. Wix and Squarespace are the other general builders. This one assumes taste and time.

What people keep it for is control of the picture. Interactions. A CMS collection of episode pages when you are on Premium. They host the site for you. AI helpers now sit on the same page. Starter is a sandbox on a webflow.io address. Basic is a simple custom-domain site. Premium is the first plan that can behave like a content site.

The later pain is two bills and a CMS cliff. Workspace is separate from the site plan. Basic looks cheap until you need episode items. Then you are on Premium, and extra bandwidth exists if traffic spikes. Team is a company contract, not a self-serve toggle. You cannot import an existing site. You build in Webflow. Export is a one-way door on paid workspaces, and forms stop working off-platform.

If you already have a designer, start on Starter and add Basic only when the custom domain is real. If the show needs a collection of episodes, budget Premium, not Basic. Keep the podcast player as an embed from your host. Do not buy Team because you liked the canvas. Confirm yearly versus monthly on the live toggle before you invoice a network.

Webflow is a brand site you design. The deal is control, not a podcast template. If you have a designer or a network budget, it holds. If you needed a show site this weekend, people already pick Podpage, Squarespace, or the host's own pages.
