Weebly has been around since the early days of website builders and still offers a functional drag and drop editor, ecommerce features through Square, and a free tier with ads for those on no budget.
It suits podcasters who want something simple and don't need the newer, more design forward templates that competitors have introduced in recent years.
Since Square acquired Weebly, active development has slowed noticeably compared to newer builders, so the templates and features feel a bit dated by comparison.
It still does the basic job reliably, a page with an embedded player, an about section, and links, it's just not going to wow anyone visually.
