To be clear about what this is: Amazon Music for Podcasters is where you claim your show and read Amazon side analytics. It does not host your audio, so your files and RSS feed still live with a proper host such as Buzzsprout, Transistor, or Captivate.
Amazon Music includes podcasts alongside its music catalog, and it comes preloaded as the default audio app on Alexa devices and Fire tablets, giving shows passive exposure to households that never bothered installing a separate podcast app.
Submitting your RSS feed here is low effort and it's one of the standard distribution targets alongside Apple and Spotify, worth doing simply because the audience is already large and growing.
Editorial curation and algorithmic discovery feel less developed than Spotify's, so don't expect this app to be a major driver of new listener discovery on its own.
It's a reasonable, mostly passive addition to your distribution list rather than a platform to actively build a strategy around.
