Magellan AI is a research and sales map of podcast advertising. Agencies and networks use it to see who is spending, which shows they bought, whether the read actually ran, and how a campaign performed. Official copy covers more than 40,000 advertisers across 50,000-plus shows. It is not a hobby download chart. A weekly host checking Tuesday does not live here.

It fits a network sales desk or an agency planner. Publisher logos on the site include Wondery, Acast, Westwood One, the New York Times, and NPR. YMH Studios, a comedy network, announced in March 2026 that it would cover Magellan attribution for every buyer on its roster. RedCircle plugged Magellan into its ad platform for competitive intel and read checks. It does not fit a solo weekly host.

What repeats in that world is the competitive picture. Magellan publishes monthly top-spender charts. Podnews treats those market notes as industry news, including Ireland and Australia benchmarks in August 2026. Their homepage features Bryan Barletta of Sounds Profitable arguing for independent measurement. Instant Intro is a button that puts a buyer in touch with a show without hunting socials.

There is no public price card. magellan.ai/pricing is a 404. You book a 20 to 30 minute demo. Publishers can add a free little tracker in front of the file link so buyers see a count inside Magellan search. That tracker is visibility for sales, not a private dashboard you sit in every Wednesday. The full intelligence suite is a contract.

If you run a network, ask for a publisher demo. If you buy ads, ask for an agency demo. If you only wanted your own show's numbers, skip the extra tracker unless you are actively hunting sponsors who already shop in Magellan. Do not treat their count as your only chart.

Magellan is ad intelligence for people who buy and sell spots at scale. Hidden dollars and a demo call are the deal. If you need to see the market, it holds. If you needed last week's downloads on one show, people already stay on the host.

The $250 monthly platform fee runs before you measure a single impression, and there is no standard free trial.
