Podtrac

Podcast audience analytics

The third-party download count a network still puts on a pitch.

Visit Podtrac

Podtrac counts downloads. It is not a host. You put a little tracker in front of each episode file link. Listeners pass through Podtrac, then they get the real file. The next day you log in and read yesterday's count. Getting Started is free. Grow Your Show adds a Smart Link, longer history, and Apple and Spotify ranking views. Enterprise is a sales call.

It is for a show that wants a second count beside the host, or a network that still gets asked for the Podtrac ranking. It is not for checking whether last Tuesday moved. Your host already does that. It is not a public page anyone can open. If you wanted that, people already use OP3.

The appeal is podcast measurement and public ranking information. Check reporting eligibility and what each metric counts. Recognition of a measurement provider is not proof that any specific buyer will accept a report.

This count and the host count will not match. That is a known argument, not a bug in your feed. If the tracker is wrong, people cannot get the file. If you stack too many trackers, some apps give up. Paid features sit behind Grow Your Show, and the public pricing page does not print those dollars.

Make an account. Turn the tracker on at the host if they have a checkbox. If they do not, they can still add it. Wait a day. Read the report. To leave, take the tracker off at the host. Old Podtrac charts stay in Podtrac. They do not follow you.

If a pitch deck still asks for this logo, it holds. If you only needed a private host chart, people already stay there and skip the extra tracker.

    The gotcha

Setup needs logins at the host, Apple Podcasts Connect, and Spotify for Creators, and the Bumper Score can move when other shows join the pool.
