Player FM works across web, Android, and iOS, and it's built its own recommendation and discovery layer on top of the standard directory listing, which can occasionally surface shows to listeners who weren't specifically searching for them.
This fits shows with audiences outside the US especially well, since Player FM has carved out stronger usage in certain international markets compared to some US-centric apps.
The gotcha, honestly, is that as a publisher you don't have much of a lever to pull here beyond having accurate metadata, the discovery algorithm does what it does and there's no dashboard to game it.
Worth checking your show's page on Player FM occasionally just to confirm artwork and episode titles are rendering correctly, since aggregation can sometimes mangle formatting.
