It fits shows that are trying to prove value to sponsors beyond a raw download chart, or networks juggling several shows who want one dashboard instead of five browser tabs. If your sponsors ask about engagement and not just reach, this is the kind of report that answers them.

The catch is that social and engagement data is messier than download data. Expect gaps, especially on platforms that lock down their APIs, and don't expect the numbers to reconcile perfectly with what you see natively on each platform.
