The gotcha

The full Standard version is expensive and both sides ideally need a paid license, which is a hard sell for a casual show.

Source-Connect sends high-quality audio between remote studios and integrates with professional production workflows.

The desktop product remains separate from Source-Connect Now, the former browser service. Now was discontinued in February 2024 in favor of Source-Nexus Free.

Check current store terms for subscription access or buy-in licensing, including any recurring network fee. This is primarily a studio workflow, so a guest-friendly podcast recorder can be simpler for occasional interviews.
