Bumper
One dashboard that prefers people who pressed play over a raw download, with a score the publisher still owns.
PodStack editorial · Product research. How we review tools
Bumper is a dashboard from Dan Misener and Jonas Woost. It pulls host delivery, Apple, Spotify, and YouTube into one place. The product they talk about is verified listeners: people who actually pressed play. The Bumper Score sits on every plan. It runs from 0 to 200. 100 is the median of shows on the dashboard.
It fits a growth team or a small network that is tired of pasting four exports into a sheet. Podcast Business Journal sat Misener down on how downloads can fall while people who hit play still rise. That is the pitch. It does not fit a show that will not claim Apple Podcasts Connect and Spotify for Creators. Help says those logins are required.
The appeal is bringing podcast reporting into a single view. Compare the retained-history window and available analysis on free and paid access. Keep audience metrics distinct from evidence that a particular episode caused a business result.
The later pain is the homework and the moving target. Help says you also need YouTube Studio if the show is on YouTube. The Score only looks at episodes from the last three months that have been out at least seven days. It is a rank against other Bumper shows, so the number can drop when the pool changes. Free history stops at three months.
Make an account at dashboard.wearebumper.com. Connect the host, Apple, Spotify, and YouTube. Read the Score glossary before you send it to a buyer. 150 to 200 is well above average verified delivery. Under 50 is a big gap between impressions and people they could confirm. To leave, disconnect the accounts.
Bumper is a consumption dashboard with a verification score, not a host. If the job is to stop arguing about downloads, it holds. If you only needed yesterday's host chart, people already stay there.
