CoHost

CoHost is a brand-side analytics shop from Quill. It can host the show. Most marketing teams keep their current host and add a little tracker in front of each episode file link. That tracker is how CoHost sees who is fetching the file. The point is not another download chart. It is to name companies, roles, and seniority in the audience, then push that into a CRM.

It fits a brand or agency show that has to answer whether the podcast reached the accounts they sell. Yelp, Procore, and impact.com are named case studies on CoHost's own site. Podnews lists the company and notes certification for download and listener counts on 31 Mar 2025, the kind of count ad buyers trust. It does not fit a hobby show. It is not a cheap host replacement.

What people keep buying is the company list. RAIN covered the tracker when Quill launched it. Tom Webster, then a CoHost consultant, told RAIN that brand shows have goals a download count cannot prove. Help pages say you do not have to move hosts. Add the tracker at the current host, publish an episode, and wait hours for charts.

The later pain is the gaps. CoHost's own tracker page says it is not compatible with Spotify for Creators. Help says Salesforce, transcriptions, and consumption data need CoHost hosting, not the tracker. Pricing is per show. Help still talks about older plan names. Trust the live pricing page.

Book a demo. Pick hosting or the tracker. If the host lets you edit the feed the apps read, paste the tracker in settings. Megaphone, Libsyn, Podbean, ART19, Buzzsprout, and Captivate are named. Some hosts need a support ticket. Publish once to prove it is firing. To leave, take the tracker off at the host.

CoHost is company-level listener intel for branded shows, not a generic download counter. If leadership wants accounts, not plays, it holds. If you only needed the host chart, people already stay there.
